Birth
Humaun ahmed was born 13th November in 1948 at kutubpur under the Netrokona district in former east Pakistan. His parents name is Fayzur Rahman and Aysha Khatun. His father was a police officer and he Contribution to liberation war in 1971.In the time of libaration war his father was SPDO in Pirojpur sub district and martyr there. His father was a writer, some time he published some article in newspaper. He also published a book at the time of staying in Bogura. “Dip Neva Jar Gore” was the name of his book .The most important science teacher in bangladesh Muhammad Jafor Iqbal is the brother of Humaun Ahmed. Delightful literary and cartoonist Ahsan Habib is also younger brother of Humaun Ahmed.
Changing Name
In the early life humaun ahmed known as Samsur Rahman and nick name was Kajol. His father Fayzur Rahman keeps this name by matching with his own name. But Humaun Ahmed changes his name later. Then he keeps his new name “Human Ahmed”. Ones upon a time this Humaun Ahmed became a legend.Humaun Ahmed become most popular and acclaimed writer in Bengali literatures. His popularity exceeded the the others Humaun. At one time Humaun ahmed said “my father loved the changing name of children”. Their name will be changed many times if his father survives some days, according to Humaun ahmed thinking. Humaun ahmed embarrassed for his name in the childhood. He was more embarrassed, when he read in class six-seven. Some Mogul History was the syllabus in class six-seven in their time. He said “I was bound to take liability of emperor Humaun’s defeat”. He was known as ‘Loser Humaun’ in his class. The amazing novel “Badsah Namdar” written on Mogul emperor Humaun which published in book fair on 2011.
Childhood of Humayun Ahmed
Humaun Ahmed’s Father was optimistic about his first children, that his first children will be daughter. He kept up many frocks for his unborn daughter. He also kipped up jingling anklet of silver. He want to be impressed by visualized his daughter with jingling of a tinkling anklet. But his first children didn’t born daughter, he get son. What is it? Long time he dressing his son as a girl by girl dress. Even Humaun Ahmed’s hair was long as girl. In childhood mother tressed in his long hair. Humaun Ahmed Start his childhood with riband in his long hair.
Humaun Ahmed passed his first part of childhood with affection and sympathy, but second part wasn’t like first part it was full of deprivation. His mother affected by typhoid fever in his childhood. His mother lost her memory after come down from fever. He didn’t identify any body for this diseased. Even she can’t identify her only son. For this reason humaun Ahmed was transmitted in his grandfather’s house. In there he grew up with appreciation & cares of his grandfather and his grandmother. Two years later his mother becomes healthy. After these two years Humaun Ahmed passed nicely ten years in his childhood. In childhood he round and round in various place in Bangladesh for the causes of his father’s job.
Humaun Ahmed’s father transferred ‘Jagoddol’ in ‘Dinajpur’ from ‘Shylhe’ . An emperor dwelling-house in middle of the forest was their habitation in Shylhet. Some time he went to tour in the forest with his father. Father was entered in the forest with loaded rifle and his children followed him.
Jagoddol in Dinajpur was the most favorite place more than other place ,which was visited by Humayun ahmed in his childhood.

Study
Since his father had a transferable job, the schooling of Humayun Ahmed was not done in any particular school. He studied at a number of places, including Sylhet, Comilla, Chittagong, Dinajpur and Bogra. However, he appeared at, and passed, the School Certificate Examination, from Bogra Zilla School, a reputed institution in the vicinity. Right from his early life, Humayun Ahmed was a meritorious student and he stood second in this examination in the Rajshahi Education Board. Next he moved to Dhaka College to clear the intermediate level. At an early stage, his ambition was to study economics. Later, however, he was attracted to chemistry and he enrolled himself in the Dhaka University for a successful pursuit of chemistry in both graduation and post graduation, both with first class marks.
The professional working career of Humayun Ahmed began as he joined Dhaka University as a lecturer of chemistry. He did his doctoral research from the North Dakota State University, United States, in polymer chemistry. In 1990, he retired from the Dhaka University to devote his entire time, effort and attention

Marital Life
Humayun Ahmed was married to Gultekin, granddaughter of Principal Ibrahim Khan, in 1973. They had five children. Three daughter & Two son, one son died in early life. But were divorced in 2003. And later Ahmed married his long time affair a TV actress Meher Afroz Shaon in 2003 and who was friend of his 2nd daughter Shila Ahmed.There is two son, & they had also three children. Two sons, namely Nishad Humayun & Ninit Hymayun and one daughter died..
Professional life
after completing his graduation in chemistry from Dhaka University In 1972 he started his career in the same department of same university as a lecturer. Later in 1982 he earned Ph.D Degree from North Dakuta State University of USA. Eventually, he left his job from Dhaka University in order to be more concentrated on his writhing and making films
